City Tour
Quito is the second highest capital and located right in the beauty of the Ecuadorian Andes. Its colonial part was declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1978 and you shouldn’t miss a walk through the small streets and colonial buildings of which most have been restored in the last years. During this city tour you will visit the basilica, the Independence Square, the presidential palace and different colonial churches with an English speaking guide who can tell you all about the long history of the city.

Mitad del Mundo
Only 23 km in the North of Quito you can find ‘Mitad del Mundo’, the Middle of the World. It’s located at latitude 0'0'0" so that you stand in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time. In the museum Inti Ñan, situated 100m from the actual monument, you can do different experiments that are only possible at the middle of the world, e.g. put an egg on a nail.
